Bearish signals

Investors don’t only buy, they hedge, hold puts, and trim. This is the bearish side, built from what is actually disclosed: names our model predicts will be exited, names tracked investors hold puts on (13F), market short interest, and the options put/call ratio. A name lighting up across several of these independent reads is worth a look.

Honesty: US filings do not disclose investor short stock positions. Nothing here says “investor X is short Y.” These are disclosed puts, market-wide short pressure, and predicted exits, not a roster of shorts.

“Short vol %” is FINRA short volume as a share of total volume (market-level), not short interest as a share of float. Predicted exits come from the walk-forward sell model. Puts are disclosed 13F option lines from discretionary investors (market-maker books excluded). Research, not advice.
